Transformation - Italian Style -  for a Newport Beach Home

To balance the soaring ceilings, Ron Dayan designed a stone fireplace mantel and over-mantel to rise 11' above the floor. He selected over-scaled furniture to be placed diagonally on new marble floors.

To complete the perfect backdrop, the former art director and set designer, faux-finished the walls and adorned the arch top windows with elegant silk curtains.

Dining is a true romantic experience at the stone table, circled by wheel-back chairs. The iron and crystal chandelier compliment the hand-carved buffet and gilded mirror, flanked by crystal sconces.

The master bedroom suite is fit for royalty. It features hand-sculpted carpet and a draped wall behind the carved headboard and bedside tables. You can relax on the plush chaise lounge, or watch TV. Upon command, the TV lifts from a cabinet at the foot of the bed. Other electronics include remote-controlled Roman shades.

In Rancho Santa Fe - #1 Richest Community in the US

The challenge in this home was to bring warmth and architectural merit to a plain house. With the use of moldings, ornaments, decorative painting, and rich curtains,  the right background was created.

Ron Dayan succeeded in composing a unique atmosphere for intimate, or large scale entertaining with the perfect blend of antique  and reproduction furniture, many of which he designed for the homeowners, who continue to enjoy the pieces in their new homes years later.

The Russians Are Coming To Beverly Hills!

This penthouse was purchased completely naked of architectural integrity. Columns, moldings, parquet floors, and marble fireplaces were installed. The antique furniture was purchased on a shopping trip to Atlanta, Georgia.
