Nautical Nostalgia On the Beach

Many of the visitors feel a little queasy when entering this “Titanic” inspired Art Deco waterfront condominium in Marina del Rey, California.  The nostalgia of sea voyage in the 1930s was captured here, on land.

This weekend retreat is filled with mahogany paneling, stainless steel and custom made Art Deco furnishings.

Real Estate - A Better Investment than Las Vegas!

The value of this Beverly Hills property increased by over $2.5 million in just 11 months as a result of Ron Dayan's dramatic transformation.  Working with the homeowners to include her love of antiques and his love of all things electronic, Dayan was able to reach a happy meeting of the 18th and 21st centuries.

With the addition of 1,500 square feet to the interior of the home, Dayan also created a vast new sports and entertainment area.

An Italian veranda leads to the large stone and grass plaza complete with Parisian street lights and benches.  The stone Gazebo offers a magnificent view of the rear of the property and the spectacular 30 foot wide waterfall that cascades into the sunken tennis court below.

Linen-fold wood paneling and hand-hewn timber were composed with authentic period furnishings to bring the majesty of Olde England back to the 20th Century, in England. The wood post's cracks are not a defect...as some have suggested.

Surviving the Tower of London

Interior Designs by Ron Dayan, Designer to the Rich & Famous - Robin LeachWhen Barry Gibb from the group "The Bee Gees," insisted upon resurrection of the Jacobean era, from 17th Century England, and in his dining room, theInterior Designs by Ron Dayan, Designer to the Rich & Famous - Robin Leach woodworkers and special finishers expressed their talents with no fear of ending up in the basement of the notorious Tower.

A prefabricated box was not even a consideration. Ornaments made of wood composition, hammered iron, end irons, and a cozy fireback, complete this nostalgic recreation of what a real fireplace should be.
